I created a set of personalized emoticons for the hackaday.io chat feature. We decided on a robot theme to go with the whole hardware and electronics field. I started off making sketches on my handy little drawing pad, and then designed them digitally on Sketch.

This was the first project I worked on as soon as I started the internship and it was a fun one. I created different shapes – square, circular, angular etc. on paper and these were finally approved for the digital version. On the development side, these emoticons correspond to the standard “:)”, “:'(“, “:(” etc. keyboard prompts.
